Welcome to Palmerston North Surf Life Saving Club

Palmerston North Surf Life Saving Club has been patrolling Himatangi beach since the early 1950's. Our members come from all over including Manawatu, Rangitikei, Whanganui and Horowhenua-Kapiti. New and returning members are always welcome!
 

Training sessions are held year round - mostly at the Lido in Palmerston North and at the beach, with other training opportunities around the lower North Island.  As an affiliated Surf Lifesaving New Zealand club we have teams and individuals attend trainings, events and competitions across the country each year.

Whether your preference is Lifeguard or Patrol Support, or you have a young one who would enjoy our Junior Surf programme, we have a spot for you.
