Patrol Support are on-beach lifeguards, supporting lifeguard patrols and managing the beach when lifeguards are in the water. It’s the ideal role if you aren’t ready for sea-based activities this season. Age 14+ you need to complete the theory and the practical first aid component of the Lifeguard training.
Surf Lifeguards become trained in first aid, resuscitation, and practical rescue skills as well as staying fit and healthy . . . all whilst keeping people safe at New Zealand’s favourite playground. Age 14+ you need to complete the Lifeguard training course.
Associate Members are those who want to be part of the club but do not intend to actively patrol. We value our associate members, and hope they will be actively involved in Club events.
